BOARD CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
Mr. Campbell played a monumental role in the conception and formation of the National College for DUI Defense Board Certification Program. He was one of the original members of the Board of Regents to receive Board Certification.
James Campbell received membership by special invitation to The American Trial Lawyers Association as one of the Top 100 Trial lawyers in the State of California. Candidates are considered for membership in The American Trial Lawyers Association based on superior qualifications, leadership, reputation, influence, stature, and profile in the Trial Lawyer community.
In a survey of 50,000 Northern
California Lawyers, San Francisco Magazine listed Mr. Campbell as the DUI Super Lawyer.
Mr.
Campbell has received the Lifetime Achievement
Award from the National College for DUI Defense. This award is not bestowed by the College often, and recognizes Mr. Campbell's outstanding contributions to the field of DUI defense.
He is a founding member
of the Board of Regents of the National College for DUI Defense,
held at Harvard Law School. He served on the Board from 1994-1999;
as Assistant Dean from 1998-1999 and was the Dean of College for
the 1999-2000 term.
He is a nationally recognized
expert in the law of DUI and vehicular homicide; and he is one of
the country's most successful DUI defense lawyers.
Mr. Campbell is also
a member of the American College of Master Advocates and Barristers,
admission to which is by invitation only.
Mr. Campbell was elected President of the American Board of Criminal Lawyers in 2007. He has been a member of ABCL since 1987 and served many years on its Board of Governors, as well as several terms as Vice-President.
Admission to the American Board of Criminal Lawyers is by invitation only. The standards for acceptance includes successful major felony trial experience and exceptional recommendations from distinguished jurists and current Fellows attesting to each of the candidate's high ethics as well as their litigation skills in the area of criminal defense.

James Farragher Campbell
has been a member of the California State Bar since 1975. He is
also admitted to Bars of the United States District Court, Northern
District of California, Eastern District of California, Central
District of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal as
well as the United States Supreme Court.
In 1992, Mr. Campbell
was named in AMERICA'S LEADING LAWYERS. He is listed in WHO'S

LAWYERS IN AMERICA. He received a "PRESIDENT'S COMMENDATION" from
